Case Study: GoCompare
Background
GoCompare launched with OMG Network in November 2006.
Strategy
We
explored a broad range of techniques for promoting GoCompare: social media,
email marketing, cashback sites and a brand protection campaign. All of these
approaches helped to drive the exceptional growth of the programme.
As a result
of strong account management, service and growth, GoCompare took the decision to
work exclusively with OMG in January 2009. Careful management of the migration
ensured that no insurance quotes were lost during the transition, and GoCompare
had full confidence to launch new products exclusively with OMG Network.
Once
exclusivity was established, we were able to streamline the campaign for closer,
more effective account management. Regular conference calls and meetings help to
address problems promptly and maintain the programme’s forward momentum.
Results
Since 2006, the GoCompare programme has grown more quickly than any other
campaign to date.
